Critical Incident Solutions assists state and local jurisdictions
in the development of regional planning initiatives as
directed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Our experience in this area includes work on projects
for Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) cites and
multi-state regions across emergency response jurisdictions.
CIS recently completed a contract supporting Homeland
Security threat/vulnerability assessments for all counties
across an entire state. CIS developed a process to coordinate
these efforts with each county involved and facilitated
the flow of data to designated emergency management officials.
By identifying over 800 high-risk facilities, conducting
threat/vulnerability assessments and evaluating emergency
response shortfalls, CIS was able to provide accurate
information from which to base any future emergency response
plan development or corrective actions.
CIS is well versed in the development of all-hazards
regional emergency response plans as well as specific
Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive
and Cyber (CBRNEC) terrorism annex plans. We take pride
in our ability to work closely with regional administrators
and officials while providing homeland security solutions
designed to meet their specific program needs.
