The Methodology
In an effort to enhance the preparedness and response levels given federal and municipal bomb squads, Critical Incident Solutions offers methodology training for other tools that are available for interrogation of suspect CBRNE WMD devices. Because there are times when a general disruption is not a good idea, there are critical scenarios that require precision knowledge and execution in order to ensure a situation with no room for error is successful. This methodology can be generally summarized like this:
- Device Radiographs are acquired from a non-standard distance for image size and clarity.
- A mosaic is developed using multiple images with digital imaging, or wet film.
- The scaled radiographs are interpreted for precise target component identification and overall incident evaluation.
- Proper disruptor ammunition is selected for optimal disruption.
- The suspect device is rendered safe with precision accuracy and minimal damage to potential evidence.
